Mt Schoenstatt is just over an hour west of Sydney and is set on 50 acres of bushland and open fields. Offering both accommodation and conference facilities, Mt Schoenstatt is an ideal place for group retreats, reflection days, seminars, craft gatherings and conferences.

With two very different options for accommodation, we welcome many diverse groups to MSSC. 

Joseph Kentenich House is fully catered with twin share ensuite accommodation and includes access to our conference room with views across the Mulgoa Valley. 

Our Home of Light offers fully self catered bunk style accommodation, perfect for youth, community and crafting groups.

Joseph Kentenich Retreat House

The Joseph Kentenich Retreat House at MSSC provides catered accommodation for up to 45 people. With a total of 20 rooms, most are configured with 2 beds and private ensuite.

Our dining room boasts rural valley views, a most tranquil room to enjoy a retreat meal. Our staff will do everything possible to look after you during your stay with us.

Our Conference Hall overlooks the valley below, is air conditioned for year-round comfort, and includes audio visual equipment for your use.

Joseph Kentenich House also comprises a number of breakout rooms for groups on retreat and facilities that can seat from 8 to 100 people.

Home of Light Retreat House

The Home of Light is located in a picturesque valley and offers self-catered, bunk style accommodation for up to 33 people, with a large dining area suitable as a meeting area. 

The Home of Light shares the valley with the resident kangaroos, who, on most days will be happily relaxing nearby. There are picnic areas close by that can be enjoyed during your stay. A large open area in front of the building can be used for games and other activities. Cleared walking paths in the bushland behind the house invite tranquil walks where you can enjoy the natural flora and fauna. 

The house itself has a fully equipped kitchen with large oven, fridge, freezer and all cooking equipment, along with eating utensils and crockery you may require. Guests need only to supply their own food and linen.
